Any change is better than stagnation

Change is scary because it means leaving the comfort zone, entering unknown terrain, risk, the certainty of mistakes in uncertainty. But any change is better than stagnation. When you stay the same and don't change at all, it means you are stagnant.

You stay in a place that you know (inside and outside of you), are comfortable, and don't have to struggle to respond to challenges. Wake up at the same time every day, do the same things on the same schedule, in the same way. The routine is comforting, pleasant, becomes a habit and does not burden you, you do not worry, you do not even think about how to change it. Life runs in a circle, every day is a repetition of the previous one and it's as if we didn't live at all. While this doesn't scare you at all, it should.

Changes are inevitable. From birth to death, life is the result of constant change. Change is synonymous with life, as is growth and development. If you don't change, you don't progress, you don't learn, you don't develop, but you stay in your beliefs and ideas.

In this position, you begin to settle for the bare minimum just to avoid the unexpected. You fear risk, you fear that you will make the wrong decision when you find yourself in a challenging situation. But challenges won't go away just because you try to avoid them. The simple and relentless course of life will bring you enough changes to deal with, especially losses and pain.

Accept the changes. They are natural, embrace and respect them. And open yourself to the changes you can make in your life through purpose, learning, curiosity, setting higher standards and goals.

It is much better to take a risk and fail than not to try at all. It's much better to find peace in the knowledge that you've tried, rather than staying put out of fear, sheltered in comfort and apparent safety.

Life won't get better by accident, more meaningful, happier, more fulfilled. Nothing changes - if nothing changes. You can't expect the person you're interested in to respond to your message if you don't even send them a message.

But you can come up with many reasons not to text her at all. If you never send it, the only thing certain is that you will never know if there would be a response, what the response would be, and where it would lead you.

You cannot expect to travel unless you have set a destination and bought a ticket. You cannot expect to be loved if you do not open yourself to love. You can't wake up in a room filled with bad energy and expect to have a great day.

If you've been waiting a long time for something to change, it has time to stop waiting and continue making changes. You don't have to do anything radical and daring. Change one little thing. Create a new layout in the living room. Move the lamp to another place. Change the covers, add a little more vibrant color, throw pillows, remove the rug.

Take a step, then another, and another. It is enough to just walk for a while on the path that led you to the first step. When you take that step in one area of life, when you dare and take action, it will be easier for you to do it on another level.

Change is like a dance that constantly changes its rhythm. You stumble a little, at some point you break free and play, but then the rhythm changes and again, you learn new steps. ..
