Are you wondering how to spend the last summer month? If you have a bit of an artistic soul in you, then you can rejoice, because there is no shortage of exhibitions at this time. We have prepared 6 interesting exhibitions for you, which will bring inspiration to your mind and thus make your hot days more beautiful.

1. Franc Novinc: Harmony of color harmony

Exhibition of the academic painter and recipient of this year's Rihard Jakopič Lifetime Achievement Award Franca Novinac waiting for you in Generali Galerija at Dunajska cesta 63 in Ljubljana. Novinc is considered one of the most important contemporary visual artists and an excellent painter, whose oeuvre is truly extensive. Harmony of color harmony presents a selection of his works from the end of the 1960s to his latest paintings from this year. "Novinc's creative energy is timeless, he is an excellent colorist. His artistic images make a mark native landscape and people. They are impregnated with glowing colors, broadcast a kind of mystical light and what they seethe from energy," Petra Bizilj Silva, curator of the Generali gallery, described its creation. There is no entrance fee, you can visit the gallery every working day from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and the exhibition will last until September 3.

2. Ančka Gošnik Godec: Lučka Dandelion

Dandelion light is an unusual, very poetically written story Gregor Strniša and it was this unusualness that inspired the painter Ančko Gošnik Godec, that she created an extraordinary picture book based on it. The artist was born in 1927 and in her admirable career created hundreds of works, of which Lučka Regrat is one of her favorites. Lučka Dandelion picture book was first published in 1987, and the images in it have not lost even an iota of luster to this day. You can view the exhibition at The pentagonal tower at Ljubljana Castle, curator Pavle Učakar and he prepared it in cooperation with the publishing house youth book. There is no entrance fee, and the exhibition will last until September 12 from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

3. #Life and narration# Things I miss

On Ljubljana Castle and there is another exhibition waiting for you, namely in Gallery S. This is an exhibition #Life and narration# Things I miss. It was constructed by an artist Tina Prince in cooperation with Anjo Bornšek, To Saš Vollmaier, Mari Zupanov and Niko Hölcl Praper. The concept of the exhibition is focused on circular design, sustainability, awareness and preservation of fundamental human values and love for the primary dimensions of life. It is a concept with a vision and a mission to change attitudes towards living, consumption, purchasing, consumption and use. The mission of the project is to emphasize, illustrate, raise awareness coexistence of body and space: movement, fluid forms and narrative textures, but also refers to the process of changing attitudes towards clothing. Entry is free, and you can visit the gallery from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m until October 10.

4. Tobias Putrih: Perceptron

V Modern galleries you can see the exhibition in Ljubljana Perceptron the artist Tobias Putrich. Putrih moves between conceptual and materially ephemeral projects sculpture, architecture and science, but also deals with avant-gardes of the 20th century, especially with utopian and visionary concepts of spatial design. His works are mostly proposals, maquettes or models of existing architectural designs and historical ideas. The artist realizes architectural changes to public spaces – cinemas, libraries, galleries and universities – and buildings temporary environments from normal ones, industrial or intangible materials: paper, cardboard, wood and light. Perceptron brings the first comprehensive look at two decades of his work, which is regularly exhibited at home and around the world. There is an entrance fee 5 € (€2.5 for pupils, students and pensioners), and you can visit the exhibition until August 29. The gallery is open every working day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Thursdays until 8 p.m.

5. Matjaž Krivic: Dihaj / Breathe

"Breathe" is an exhibition Matjaža Krivica, a documentary photographer who has been following the stories of different people and places for 25 years, his work and multimedia projects have been on display in many galleries, museums, outdoor exhibitions in Slovenia and around the world. The artist records in his intense, personal and aesthetically compelling style the face of the earth and renders poorer parts of the world, characterized by tradition, social unrest and a strong presence of religion, and in recent years has focused on environmental issues and advocates for a greener future with his work. In the "Breathe" project, he boldly puts it in the foreground protective mask, which obscures part of the faces of the protagonists of the series of portraits, but still offers enough possibilities for the interpretation of their stories. The people portrayed come from Asian cities, exposed to high levels of air pollution, but they are hidden behind surgical, cotton and more advanced protective masks, which always mean one thing - longer life. With the exhibition, Krivic points out that it is breathe clean air one of the basic human rights, but part of the population is for it unfairly disadvantaged. You can see it in Kresia Gallery at Stritarjeva ulica 6, and it will last everything until August 25. The gallery is open from Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturdays until 2 p.m. and on Sundays until 1 p.m.

6. DRAFT Maxime Berthou, Mark Požlep – Hogshead 733

Hogshead 733 is a project jointly conceived by two artists Mark Požlep and Maxime Berthou, and you will be able to view it in Metelkova Museum of Contemporary Art at Maistrava Street 3.
The siphon works in the field visual and performing arts, spatial installations and videos. His artistic practice includes journeys that represent long-term performances and endurance art, and through his research the artist aims to reveal the tension between politics, poetics and individual action.
Maxime Berthou manufactures cinema essays, which are based on the experience of performative gestures. The artist works in the context of practical research, looking at science through the framework of art.
Their joint project consists of travel, a sea adventure, a story of heritage, friendship and whisky. You will be able to feel the spirit with it journeys from Breton Trebeurden to the Scottish island of Islay with 20 stops, which the two artists concluded with a cinematic essay Soutien de famille, which will be premiered at MSUM. The entrance fee is €5 (€2.5 for pupils, students and pensioners), and the exhibition will last until August 29. The museum is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Thursdays until 8 p.m.
