Lexus and Toyota have launched an offensive of new models, which, according to all expectations, are aimed at the 100% electric drive. Among other things, they also showed us the Lexus RZ 450e for the first time, which convinced us with its striking image.
Lexus RZ 450e it already lets us know with its exterior that it is a new model that uses the current Lexus design language. In this case, the front mask is almost completely closed and only has an opening at the bottom of the mask and two smaller openings near the lights. Only these have prominent and sharp lines that make the front part even more striking. The roof is visibly bent, the rear has two small air deflectors, and you will find the charging port between the fender and the front door.
Lexus stands out with its design, but it shares a platform with Toyota bZ4X and Subaru Solterra. Performance figures for the RZ 450e are currently unknown, but its ʺcousinsʺ (Toyota and Subaru) have an electric motor with 160 kW power, while the additional data for the Soleterra is that it has a battery with capacity 71.4 kWh, which has enough energy for up to 354 kilometers a long way. The Lexus RZ 450e will be revealed in more detail in the future year.
