Maybe you don't feel ready or don't believe you can make your dreams come true? Don't you think it's the right time yet? It's just fear. And fear is great at finding very convincing excuses.
There will always be a rational explanation for not doing something - you are too busy, you have other priorities, it is not the right time, something is bothering you. But you know what? There will always be something bothering you. You will always have urgent problems to solve. The routine of life will pull you back and provide an inexhaustible source of excuses.
There will always be something in the way. Someone whose needs and problems are urgent and require your intervention, your way of life, the feeling that you will betray everyone around you if you do something just for yourself.
Love that will occupy you, beliefs that you cannot overcome and reveal, doubts. You don't have to worry about running out of excuses. You will always find something you can't do.
Stop. You have a desire, a desire. You have an idea, you know what you need to do to express yourself in the right way, to feel better, to achieve your integrity in all life plans. It's not that you don't know exactly what you want, it's that you're afraid to do it. Look at your doubts, uncertainty, caution, hesitation. Look at your mind calculating what you will lose until you get what you want and what you will be if you lose everything. That's why risk is called risk, because you can lose.
You may have to lose something to gain something else. You may have to invest a certain amount of your life to achieve something, during which time you will have to neglect your partner, family, social life, hobbies. Investing in a dream means giving up, it means you can't live the life you're used to.
You may feel like life is passing you by, but it's all about discipline and responsibility. If you want to achieve something, you have to work at it, and working at anything takes time, concentration and energy.
Sometimes you have to fight with yourself to move towards something you want to achieve. For a while, you have to feel the pressure that forces you to do something. You have to be dissatisfied, experience failures and use up a lot of excuses.
Do you need something so badly that you are willing to risk, invest, give up, work for no reward? If the answer is yes, then all excuses fall away. Then you get into something that's worth every effort, and everything else goes into the background, whatever that means and whatever it entails.
Of course, excuses are still within reach and offered at every step, especially where you are insecure, but if you have the motivation, will, determination and awareness to do your best, you will overcome the temptation to make excuses.
