We've seen quite a few unusual ways to use ink to date, but Living Ink is an innovation that lets you secretly write messages and create drawings. Made from renewable algae and chlorophyll ink, the pen develops in sunlight. Shortly after using the pen, the drawing or writing is erased from the paper and reappears a week later. This way, you can send something nice to a special person in a special way.
The team Living Ink Technologies has developed a special patent, which with the help of living algae and chlorophyll turns carbon dioxide into ink. Two pens named by the team "quick" and "slow" ink, are the main stars of this patent. On a special paper that does not contain acid and is very durable, you first draw something with a pencil that is visible throughout the entire process of producing the image, and then with "fast" ink, which turns pink on the paper and then fades, you draw the things you want to appear first. You continue with with "slow" ink of blue color, which fades just as well, and the drawing appears a day or so later than the one drawn with "quick" ink.
After you complete the illustration and the ink rubs off the paper, there is another simple step in the process Living Ink: place the paper in a wooden base, which acts as a greenhouse, in which the ink gradually develops. After four days in the light, the image is finally revealed and it lasts forever.
