This coming Sunday, the new dance performance by Croatian performer and choreographer Matija Ferlin continues the conceptual series Sad Sam, which he started in 2011.
Sad Sam Lucky is a response to the confessional poetry of the Slovenian poet Srečko Kosovel, which is deep and moving in the spirit of inner tensions, melancholic prophecies and revolutionary ideas, intertwined with reflection on his own image. Standing as the third alongside the solo performances Sad Sam Now I am and Sad Sam Almost 6, the extraordinary Ferlin delivers a genuinely turbulent and emotional tribute to this avant-garde poet. In all the beauty of the movement, clothed in the darkness of the minimalist scene, it takes you into a tense dance-theatrical ecstasy.
After a tour in Belgium, France, Serbia and Norway and receiving an award for incredible expressiveness at the Infant international festival, she is now also coming to Slovenian stages.
