McLaren 570S Coupé – McLaren enters the sports car class through the front door

McLaren entered the sports car class with its smallest model, the 570S Coupé.

McLaren's newest sports car 570S Coupé did not choose easy rivals - Porsche 911 turbo, Audi R8 and Ferrari California - but the first in the series of sports vehicles of this British brand hopes for a rich booty, as the leading men put the burden of doubling sales on it. Our appetite was greatly whetted by the previous McLaren 650S model, but time will tell if the 570S Coupé, powered by a 3.8-liter eight-cylinder engine with a 570-member "cavalry," can go one step further.

McLaren 570S Coupé it is McLaren first trip to class of sports vehicles. It bears many McLaren traits in appearance 650S, but it has a slightly less rugged appearance, but the club remains aggressive (it measures 4.5 m in length and 2.1 m in width). Last but not least, he testifies to this 570 horsepower and torque 600 Nm, which allows it to have a centrally mounted 3.8-liter V8 Twin Turbo engine behind the driver. That's why he also takes le 3.2 seconds to 100 km/h, and at 200 km/h it is Usain Bolt's time in the 100 meters (9.5 seconds).

Compared to previous models, it has greatly improved usability in everyday traffic. There is more comfort for passengers, and among other things, it is also in front of the driver 150 liter trunk. The body is made of aluminum, while the passenger one carbon fiber cabin. The chassis is also carbon (MonoCell II), which is as heavy as the average man (80 kg). Hence the relatively low total weight - 1313 kilograms.

Although the power of the 570S Coupé belongs to McLaren's "middle" class- in front of him are Super Series and Ultimate Series - we can drive him to 328 km/h, where it moves through a 7-speed SSG transmission, and they stop it carbon-ceramic brakes. And what does the interior say? It bursts with high technology, as we find only a handful of switches. The surroundings attract the most attention 7-inch screen, which resembles Jar Jar Binks from Star Wars, and the central one management console, where we find the start button, for adjusting the chassis, for the automatic two-clutch gearbox and "lunch control" for quick start. If it is on your wish list, prepare at least 200 thousand euros. It will be available at the end of the month April 2015.
