Mercedes-Benz GLB: niches are sexy

Mercedes-Benz GLB

Mercedes-Benz has introduced a car that we have been missing so much in their sales range - an SUV that is both playful and manly. Just like its predecessor, the GLK, which divided opinions about its shape, but at the same time had many followers who always gave a thumbs up when it appeared.

Niches are sexy, according to the brand Mercedes-Benz and are thus part of the auto show in New York presented a concept that will become a reality already this summer when they present the production version. It is a marked model GLB, which is positioned between the GLA and GLC models, but surprises with its spaciousness on its wheelbase option of the third type seats and thus space for as many as 7 people.

The design is masculine and quite different from other Mercedes-Benz models.

There is no need to waste words on the shape, because the latter looks really masculine and different. The car has a tall silhouette, but it still feels muscular - sort of like a not-so-retired person Mercedes-Benz GLK, which it somewhat resembles (the latter has always deviated from the average).

In the back, there will be room for the last row of seats and thus 7 passengers in the vehicle.

The Mercedes-Benz GLB will be available in classic drive technology as fully electrified and powered exclusively by electricity. The latter's batteries are said to be 60 kWh and would be sufficient to reach up to 500 kilometers on a single charge – calculated according to the WLTP cycle. The electric version will hit the roads a little later, namely at the beginning of 2021.
