The lamp, consisting of nine large light bodies hanging on an aluminum disc with a diameter of 110 cm, brings a play of modern shapes and light similar to natural into the room. The individual body was shaped in a special molding process, as well as the characteristic chrome or satin aluminum color. Despite their solid form, due to the reflection of light, "metallic stones" act as if they are constantly changing shape by floating in space, similar to drops of mercury or some other liquid metal. They emit light indirectly, which brings softness and warmth to the room. For the well-known Italian lighting house Artemis, the Mercury lamp was designed by designer Rosso Lovegrove as a sculpture that turns into a planetarium of light play in the evenings. As it is a relatively large hanging lamp with a noticeable shape reminiscent of a galaxy, it will undoubtedly become the center of the living space.
