Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross: a crossover that may surprise

The year 2017 was special for Mitsubishi mainly due to the celebration of its 100th anniversary. At the same time, they presented a refreshed logo and a new slogan "Drive Your Ambition". The year 2018 started in Slovenia with the presentation of the new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, which has a bold design, enables dynamic driving and has a lot of modern technology.

By size Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross it ranks between the Asx and Outlander models and, like all crossovers, it could be described as a coupe with the utility of an SUV. The front has a distinctive Mitsubishi style that exemplifies a mask of a Japanese samurai. Among other things, the rear is quite different, one could say more futuristic, which is one more proof that Mitsubishi originates from Japan, where traditional and modern are always intertwined. Zadek offers tubular LED lighting, which has recently become a trend in new cars.

The interior of the Eclipse Cross is divided into two parts. The upper part offers all the necessary information, while the lower part of the dashboard is intended to control all devices in the car. Among the technologies, we can mention new ones SDA – Smartphone Link Display Audio, which connects to smartphones via an interface Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Eclipse Cross has it too screen Heads up, which provides a wealth of information and ensures that the driver can always focus on what is happening on the road. This is also helped by the control panel, which simplifies the management of applications and the car radio.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has S-AWC electronically controlled four-wheel drive, which uses automatic drive selection mode depending on the vehicle base. In addition, it has a preset selection for snow or sand. In recent tests Euro NCAP  Eclipse Cross has achieved five stars, which further proves that security is well taken care of in it. The reason also lies in the fact that a lot of additional and especially a lot of safety equipment is already installed in the car as standard.
