The largest number of men run households in Slovenia

Although men are less and less active in household chores, we can boast that our stronger halves are good at this area as well.

Many ladies today wonder what the hell happened to the men who once fired the imagination of many housewives, when they shouted from the bathroom how many degrees they should wash the laundry at, or just grabbed the vacuum cleaner themselves. Judging by the research that has been done Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) performed in 29 countries around the world, today this is no longer the case. Men are significantly less helpful with household, and they devote less and less time to it shopping and takes care of family members, as women do. What is even more worrying is that we all spend significantly more time on work or we dedicate it sport.

Unfortunately, the research results do not end there. Among other things, the charts showed that most of the time food and drink dedicated by the French, more than two hours or 132 minutes, to be exact, while the average time spent by the rest of us is 89 minutes.

And how much time we spend on House chores? In the 29 countries that were under the watchful eye of the research, women spend 168 minutes on household chores, while men spend more than half that - only 74 minutes. On average, they spend 18 minutes shopping and 16 minutes taking care of the family. It is true that the fairer sex much prefers to shop - on average 28 minutes a day, and we devote 40 minutes to family. And while me 158 minutes devote the day to paid work, men stay at work 259 minutes.

To be a little more precise: in Korea and Turkey, men spend an average of only 21 minutes a day behind the four walls of their home, while Indians spend the least, only 19 minutes. In these countries, women who take the burden of domestic chores on their shoulders are undoubtedly worthy of respect - for them, 298 minutes Indian women spend 261 minutes of their daily time in Turkey and 138 minutes in Korea. Of course, the results are also a reflection of a different way of life and culture.

Still, we shouldn't bite all our nails. The Swedes proved to be real men, who spend an average of 79 minutes a day on household chores, while women spend 95 minutes, but the biggest praise goes to Slovenia, where we have most household men. They just move around the household 114 minutes a day. Sounds good, but is it true?
