At the end of January, one of the most provocative films of recent years, which examines the field of artificial intelligence, is coming to cinemas. The latter is increasingly moving away from science fiction and becoming a near-reality, which sparks controversy and raises many questions about the consequences of this type of research. The intense psychological thriller EX_MACHINA will take us into the heart of a risky experiment and play with an unusual love triangle in which loyalty is torn between man and machine.
Caleb, a 24-year-old programmer, wins an internal work competition and wins the grand prize of a one-week stint with the company's genius CEO. When he arrives at an isolated mountain location, he discovers that the director's home is actually a research facility where the greatest scientific event in history is taking place. He will also participate in it, as he will communicate with the world's first real artificial intelligence, trapped in the body of a beautiful robot. Completely overwhelmed by what is happening, he has no idea that a fascinating experiment will quickly turn into a dangerous psychological battle.
