Everything Matthew McConaughey touches turns to gold. Logically, he was given a role in the movie Gold, in which he plays a man on the verge of despair, who wants to get rich against all odds and succeeds in doing so after he stumbles upon a gold mine. But trouble quickly arises in paradise after everyone wants a piece of his fortune. Stephen Gaghan (Siriana) directed the film, which is full of star names.
Every actor in Hollywood strives for a golden statuette. Matthew McConaughey (The Wolf of Wall Street, True Detective, Interstellar) already has his Oscar, in the movie Gold but strive for gold. Director's film Stephen Gaghan (the film was originally to be directed by Michael Mann and star Christian Bale) takes place in the 1980s and tells the story of Kenny Wells, businessman, like the Sahara waters thirsty for success, but the pitch sticks to him, as long as he is with the geologist in Indonesia (in the jungles of Borneo) no stumble upon a golden vein. Then his life turns upside down.
