Elon Musk, the man behind revolutionary ideas, is announcing a transformation for X (formerly known as Twitter). In the near future, users may be paying a "small fee" to use the x.com platform, but for a good reason: ensuring the credibility and quality of the content.

In a digital age where you can tweet about your breakfast or the latest cat antics at no cost, Elon Musk, our modern-day Tony Stark (sans armor, az meme), is breaking the news. X, the platform we once knew as Twitter may soon come at a price. And no, we're not talking about the emotional cost of reading your uncle's conspiracy theories. More about micro-subscribers to ensure that only real people and not robots will be on the platform.

Elon Musk, the visionary behind electric cars and trips to Mars, has hinted that the X will soon switch to a pay-as-you-go model. In a live conversation with the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has revealed that X is considering introducing a “small monthly fee” for its use. Why? To tackle the growing problem of bots.

"To fight against massive bot armies," he explained Musk, "It's the only way I can see." Bots, those digital nuisances, cost a fraction of a cent. But if they had to pay a few dollars, their actual costs would skyrocket.

During the conversation, Musk also shared some impressive metrics for X. The platform now boasts as many as 550 million monthly users, who create between 100 and 200 million posts every day. However, Musk did not clarify whether these numbers also include bots.

In the ever-changing world of technology, change is the only constant. While some may cringe at the thought of paying for something that was once free, others may welcome a bot-free experience. Only time will tell how this move will shape the future of social media. Until then, keep tweeting (or should we say X-posting?) and maybe start saving just in case!

However, it should be noted that since Twitter took over Elon Musk, there really is no shortage of changes and experimentation on it. And that is definitely a good thing at a time when we all want something new.

Let's remember the wise words of a certain billionaire: "When something is important enough, you do it, even if the odds are not in your favor." Or in this case, even if it costs a few euros.
