MWC 2019: Microsoft HoloLens 2, augmented reality glasses

Microsoft unveiled the Microsoft HoloLens 2 augmented reality glasses at Mobile World Congress.

Microsoft HoloLens 2  they are not virtual reality glasses, instead they place drawn (artificial) objects in the surroundings that we see through them - holograms, as they were called at Microsoft. But it is also important that it is all the necessary processing power in the glasses and not on the computer. On the surface, the glasses of the new version are similar to the first (except that these are suitable for business use), but they claim that they are are easier, so it is more comfortable to wear them for a long time and they have twice as wide a viewing angle.  The only thing that hasn't changed is the price. They will be available this year at a calculated price of 3,100 euros without tax.

In the second version of the glasses, most of the features are improved. Sensors that follow the movement of the user, his hands and objects in the surroundings are like that accurate, so that it can touch the hologram. The screens are not ordinary, but rather a microelectromechanical system (MEMS), i.e. a laser and a system of mirrors that "create" an image in front of the eye, as if it were there 2K resolution screen. The official resolution figure is therefore 47 pixels per degree of vision. It supports the operation of the glasses ARM processor, they also have an eye tracking sensor, speakers and forward facing 8 MP camera.
