The vegan movement is getting louder and more numerous. Proponents of the use of products of plant origin are apparently not only found among ordinary mortals, but also in the footwear industry. Nat-2 are 100 % vegan sneakers made from hay and plastic bottles.
German brand nat-2, which is engaged in the production of modern sneakers, presented 100 % Vegan Sneakers. These are made from, among other things of hay, grass and flowers, which make up about half of the shoe's surface. They are intended both sexes.
Each pair of sneakers is unique, and its exterior will change over time. The prototype of the footwear was designed in Germany and Austria, while hand-crafting takes place in Italian family-run workshop.
When making parts of the sneaker that resemble suede and napa leather, the manufacturers used it recycled plastic bottles. The interior of the slippers is equipped with comfortable padding antibacterial cork.
The footwear collection will see the light of day January 19, when it will take place in Berlin NEONYT – a fashion show where innovations that inspire will be presented Sustainable Development.
