Have you ever slept in a nest? If not yet, maybe it's high time you check out the beautiful "nests" at the Nesting Resort on the Sončni Raj estate not far from Maribor.
On a green property Sunny Paradise have newly created cute wooden nesting houses in which you can spend the night and have a carefree break. The starry sky above you, the fragrances of the nearby forest and the sounds of nature will convince you to return to the safe nest again and again.
The houses are entirely made of Slovenian wood and insulated with hemp fibers, which ensure a natural climate in the nest boxes. The interior is also designed from local wood, and the lamps are made from apple trees that have served and produced their rich fruits for decades right on the location where the houses stand today.
Lavender, Smilj and Hemp
There are two larger and one smaller nest boxes and two tree tents. The Sivka and Smilj nests are considered more spacious, while the Konoplja nest is a little smaller. All are equipped with comfortable beds, and the larger ones also have one or two seats that can be converted into beds for children. For maximum comfort, the nests also have air conditioning, as well as a coffee machine and a refrigerator.
A real feast for the eyes is the large terrace, which opens up a view of unspoilt nature. The sanitary facilities and bathrooms of the Nesting Resort are shared in the building in the immediate vicinity. Within the property there is also a convenient space for socializing, suitable for shared breakfasts, which you can also eat in the privacy of your own terrace.
