With the Hyundai i30 N, Hyundai proves that it does not create boring cars, but rather ones that awaken passion in drivers. This time, it was only slightly rejuvenated - both outside and under the sheet metal.
The guide of the renovation is a "sharper" look, following the example of some global ones Hyundai models. Thus, the front part now gets the typical LED signature for this brand. The design details are strongly reminiscent of the Sonata model, which Hyundai markets well on global markets, but has not yet arrived in Slovenia. Other minor changes are a slightly larger rear spoiler and various micro-additions that better guide the air over the muscular body. The Hyundai i30 N is still available as a regular model with 184 kilowatts or 250 horses and in the "Performance" version, which has 280 horsepower. The latter accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 5,9 seconds.
i30 N got Hyundai's eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, which is also available in the US Veloster N. Yes, they still make this model, but they don't offer it to the European market. Buyers can also get in the i30 N six-speed manual transmission.
It is updated inside i30 N available with lightweight seats that save 2.8 kilograms compared to conventional chairs. They also have larger side supports. The rest of the cabin gets lots of little details, like metal pedals and stitching Performance Blue, which even appears on seat belts. The interior upholstery is black and is available in both fabric and a mixture of faux suede and leather.
An optional Performance Package is available to enhance the vehicle's appearance. This includes 19-inch wheels that are 14.4 kilograms lighter than the current 19-inch wheels. They have new tires on them Pirelli P-Zero, which replace the standard ones Michelin Pilot Super Sport. The brakes have also been improved with larger brake discs.
With a new model Hyundai also updates driving assistants. For example, Collision Avoidance Assistant now detects on foot, and lane tracking assistance has also been improved. Some other interesting safety assistants are included, such as the Rear Collision Avoidance Assist system.
New ones N will be in Slovenia available at the end of this year.
