KTM presented 2023 KTM 1290 Super Duke RR, a limited edition hyper-naked motorcycle that takes the already wild 1290 Super Duke R EVO to a whole new level. Limited to just 500 units worldwide, the new 1290 Super Duke RR boasts a menacing design that includes a glossy black and matte carbon base, contrasting white graphics and striking orange accents.
The 2023 KTM 1290 Super Duke RR is powered by the Austrian manufacturer's most powerful V-Twin engine to date, a liquid-cooled 1,301cc mill that delivers an impressive 180 hp (134 kW) and 103.25 ft-lbs (140 Nm) of torque. The motorcycle weighs 180 kg (396 lbs) and achieves a phenomenal power-to-weight ratio of 1:1.
The latest 1290 Super Duke RR 2023 sports premium track-focused components, including a braking system, fully adjustable WP APEX PRO suspension, ultra-lightweight lithium-ion battery and seven-spoke forged wheels. An Akrapovič slip-on exhaust is standard, while an optional full-system Akrapovič EVO line exhaust system is available for those looking for even more power.
State-of-the-art track-oriented electronics are part of the model's standard equipment KTM 1290 Super Duke RR 2023 and provides optimal performance on the track or on mountain roads. Carbon fiber is used extensively throughout the bike, including the subframe, which features a unique single-seat unit with integrated LED taillights and turn signals.
To further emphasize the exclusivity 1290 Super Duke RR, each owner will receive a special carbon fiber key box containing the keys to their new beast. A range of specially developed KTM PowerParts and KTM PowerWear are available for riders looking to elevate the wildness of their motorcycle, including a bespoke leather racing suit with unique branding.
Orders for KTM 1290 Super Duke RRs from 2023 were opened on March 13th and can only be secured at to a selected number of authorized KTM dealers. Pricing has not yet been revealed, but is expected to be similar to the 2021 1290 Super Duke RR. If you want one, act fast, because the previous batch sold out in less than an hour.
