A new generation Lexus GX – new Lexus GX 2024, which will go on sale in the U.S. in early 2024, boasts 349 horsepower from a 2.0-liter V6 engine. It leads to roads and off-road with reinforced Overtrail version, designed specifically for off-road adventures.
Under the hood of this powerful SUV hides a twin-turbocharged 3.4-liter V6 engine that produces an impressive 349 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque (649 Nm). All of this is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission that allows it to tow up to 3,629 kilograms.
Considering its rugged exterior, the new Lexus GX 2024 model offers a luxurious interior. With a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14-inch screen for the infotainment system that supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, GX provides a superior technological experience.
Lexus has elegantly integrated its iconic spindle-shaped grille into the new design, giving the vehicle a modern yet recognizable look. With six trim levels – Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail and Overtrail+, there is something for everyone.
Special attention should be paid Overtrail version (pictured), which, with unique black accents on the fenders and aluminum chassis, offers improved off-road performance. An additional plus is represented by 18-inch wheels with 33-inch tires.
Price for a new generation Lexus GX hasn't been revealed yet, but given the current model's starting price of US$59,775, we don't expect any major changes.
The variety of colors it will offer new Lexus GX 2024, promises something for every taste. It will be available in eleven exterior colors: Eminent White Pearl, Nebula Gray Pearl, Atomic Silver, Incognito, Caviar, Nori Green Pearl and Nightfall Mica. The Overtrail and Overtrail+ versions will be available in a two-tone combination with a black roof and body in Atomic Silver, Incognito, Nori Green Pearl or Earth.
Inside, passengers will be treated to a combination of semi-aniline leather and NuLuxe in Black, Dapple Gray and Saddle Tan. Overtrail models will be enriched with a combination of Black and Olive or Chateau and Olive.
The 2024 Lexus GX will be available in two seating configurations, a six-seater or a seven-seater. The standard front seats are equipped with a heating and ventilation function, and heating can also be added to the rear seats.
