Just like the new Renault Zoe, the new Opel Ampera-e overcomes the magical limit of 400 kilometers without intermediate charging. It will hit showrooms in the summer of 2017.
New Opel Ampera-e (2017) is proof that it is electric mobility more than just a one-day trip. Its purely electric range based on the European NEDC driving cycle amounts to 400 kilometers, which should be taken with a pinch of salt. In practice, this means slightly less, but certainly more than 300 kilometers, which is psychological border in the minds of customers and what sets it next to it of the new Renault Zoe. The new Opel Ampera-e is more than just an electric city kid, as it can boast with the power of a sports car.
The electric motor can squeeze out of itself 204 hp (150 kW) and it has 360 Nm maximum torque. It takes off like an 'octane sprinter', as it reaches 50 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, something unique to Opel's OPC sports fleet. Accumulator batteries they are installed under the bottom of the vehicle and do not interfere with the passenger cabin, which provides comfort for five passengers.

The new Opel Ampera-e is equipped with the latest generation of information and entertainment systems IntelliLink, which are compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
