The Spanish temperament is considered to be hot, so on cold days we go to the Spanish restaurant Ole in Maribor. The recently renovated premises invite us. When we round it all off with Spanish-inspired food, even the cold winter won't bother us anymore. The Spanish are familiar with small dishes or tapas, which are available in Maribor in cold or warm form, from prosciutto, marinated olives, to poultry, mussels or garlic bread. Since it's already very cold outside, soup will warm us up, maybe broccoli with salmon, garlic or onion soup. The Spanish are known for their seafood, which is why Maribor's Spanish cuisine also follows this rule. One of the most famous seafood dishes is paella, but we can also order fish or squid, and of course there is no shortage of meat delicacies. For real eaters, the giant steak will be ideal, while the rest of us will be satisfied with the rest of the meat offer.
