For almost 50 years, Overfinch has been rebuilding Land Rovers at its workshop in Leeds, England. This time, however, he decided on a very special collaboration.
Overfinch adds to its offer the conversion of the legend of off-road vehicles and in cooperation with James Purdey & Sons Ltd. introduces its Heritage line for ultimate British off-road luxury with a touch of classic. While the exterior is little changed from the base 1993 Range Rover, the interior exudes luxury and prestige – the smell of cigars and brandy. Overfinch tan saddle leather covers the heated Recaro seats with lambswool carpets, walnut trim and polished trim throughout the cabin.
The pictures show the Range Rover Classic model, which combines luxury with legendary off-road performance. Of course, it has an updated engine, which is a brand new 6.2 liter V8. The interior and certain elements have also been greatly improved. So it is not a restaurant of the old one, but an upgrade in all respects.
Open the tailgate and the heart of the structure is revealed: an English walnut storage with drawers for cigars, champagne and a pair of handmade James Purdey & Sons Sidelock Ejector 12 rifles. Each Range Rover is custom built and offers almost everything a buyer can imagine.
To support the Heritage line, Overfinch has been delighted to partner with James Purdey & Sons Ltd, British Royal Warranted gunsmith.
Both brands share a passion for bespoke craftsmanship, luxury details and distinctive British design. Purdey, has specialized in sporting rifles and shotguns since its inception in 1814. The highly regarded shooting and hunting brand also includes premium field equipment and accessories in its product range.
