If you ever needed a reason for intimacy, now you have it!
Does this sound too good to be true? Situations that sound too good to be true usually aren't. But this time, no matter how strange it sounds, people who have sex more often are really more intelligent!
Well, at least if the scientists from of Maryland and South Korea.
Namely, a group of scientists conducted experiments on rats to prove that sexual activities improve mental abilities and stimulate the production of neurons in the hippocampus (the area of the brain responsible for long-term memory). They found that the rats showed signs of better cognitive and hippocampal function in situations where they were allowed sexual activity. Simply put – more sexuality, more brain cells.
Of course, this does not mean that things work according to the same principle when the situation is reversed. Intelligence does not bring more sex, or at least not with certainty. A study conducted at the University of Pennsylvania, actually showed that a high level of working memory in adolescents decreases the likelihood that they will enter into intimate relationships early.
