If we've shed a tear or two at the maternal devotion in the London Olympics adverts, we can just whip up a new pack of tissues. Procter & Gamble is continuing its maternal campaign with a new ad for the upcoming Olympic Games in Sochi.
Similar to the 2012 ad, which garnered a whopping 21 million views, the sequel features moms unconditionally supporting their aspiring athletes through all the lows and pains to great success. If the London version is titled "The Best Job" ("The best job") followed the development of young athletes from the age of 6 onwards, this year's version of "Pick Them Back Up" includes even younger, one-year-old, barely walking children. Also, in line with the Winter Olympics, the ad features sports such as hockey, skiing, surfing and ice skating. In it, you can even see a moment of sincere happiness between Lindsey Vonn and her mother. Even before the official start of the Olympic Games in Sochi, on February 6, a series of advertisements can be seen on the official to P&G's YouTube channel.
