Philips TV presents a wide range of improvements that the new Philips Performance series boasts with the OLED807 model, which improves on the already multi-awarded Philips TVs.
The hydrogen compounds in the design of the OLED-EX TV screen have been replaced by more efficient and stable deuterium, as a result of which the new model provides up to 30% higher luminance compared to previous conventional OLED TVs. which is one of the first innovations highlighted today by the developers at the Philips brand. Of course, they could not pass by the improved processor of the sixth generation with the designation P5. The latter takes care of communication with the light sensor of the TV. The improved version of the Ambient Intelligence P5 system constantly measures the lighting conditions in the room and adjusts the brightness, gamma parameters and color in real time, thus ensuring a completely optimized contrast, both for SDR and HDR content. Thanks to the sixth generation of the P5 AI image processor, viewers can choose between different content playback options. The modes available are eye-friendly Eye Care mode, Dark Detail Optimization mode and Color temperature Optimization mode.
An extraordinary cinematic experience
The new version of the automatic film mode AI Auto Film Mode provides an even greater choice of displaying alternative picture styles upon film detection, instead of the previous two, it enables as many as seven different ones, including the Filmmaker mode. If your Philips OLED807 TV is set to Filmmaker picture style, it will automatically switch to a darker Dolby Vision picture display when it detects Dolby Vision content.
Picture styles now include a new Crystal Clear mode, which replaces the previous Vivid mode and provides an extremely clear picture with rich colors. It also improves the natural balance between sharpness, color and contrast.
Philips continues to support a wide range of HDR recording formats, including Dolby Vision, HLG, HDR10 and HDR10+ and HDR10+ Adaptive. IMAX Enhanced support will also be enabled in 2022 models.

The new Philips OLED807 is also ideal for experienced gamers, as it convinces with excellent HDMI 2.1 support and functions such as -eARC, VRR 4K UHD (40 Hz – 120 Hz, at full bandwidth 48 Gbps, for 4:4:4, 12 bit signals) and compatibility with FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC as well as Auto Game and Auto-Low-Latency modes.
The new gaming UI bar provides easy access to picture and sound settings via a simplified on-screen menu, allowing for quick on-the-fly checking and tweaking of settings while playing. Gamers can now easily enable VRR, NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync™ options.
Philips' unique "anti-burn" technology uses an advanced function to detect logos and static objects in the image. The network of zones prevents the appearance of an imprinted image by accurately detecting static content and gradually reducing the intensity of local illumination on the screen, which does not affect the image in other parts of the screen.

The Philips OLED807 features an upgraded, high-quality, high-performance 2.1 sound system with 70W RMS power and dedicated Triple Ring technology. The rear-facing bass speaker is supported by as many as four passive diaphragms. Also part of the Philips TV & Wireless Home System is built-in DTS Play-Fi wireless technology, which can be used as part of a high-definition multimedia sound system. Easy and seamless connection to compatible TVs, mobile devices, sound modules and speakers is possible anywhere in your home. Establishing a wireless connection with headphones, additional rear speakers or a subwoofer is incredibly simple. The latest update to the 2022 models allows the Philips OLED807 to be used as a stand-alone center speaker in a multi-speaker AV system. Smart features can be accessed through the latest Android TV 11 operating system, which features a sleek and intuitive interface, with built-in Google Assistant, accessed right through the built-in microphone on the remote control. Of course, it is also compatible with Alexa technology.
