Photos celebrating ballet

Ballet through photography

At first glance, ballet is an elegant and light dance, but there is a lot hidden under the beautiful silk slippers. Black nails, bruises, scratches, blood and deformed fingers are visible on the outside, but only ballet dancers themselves truly know how much mental and physical effort is required for this sport that has always been highly valued. Since February 7th was Ballet Day, we've prepared a gallery below to celebrate ballet and all the ballerinas and ballet dancers out there...

You've always wanted to know how to dance ballet and you absolutely love watching muscular figures of ballerinas and ballet dancers, spinning on their toes with apparent ease? Then you are in the right place, because this post is dedicated to ballet. We know that under pink silk slippers are hidden the consequences of daily effort, among which we should mention black nails, mutilated toes, blisters, wounds and swelling. Becoming a ballerina is far from easy, as this sport requires a lot of sacrifice and physical and mental effort. Only a few are persistent and mentally strong enough to achieve their dream of becoming a professional ballet dancer or prima ballerina.

Since a few days ago, February 7th to be exact, was ballet day, in the gallery below we have collected fascinating photos of ballerinas and ballet dancers that represent their strength and grace. If you are wondering, why should February 7th be ballet day?, there are two explanations with which we can answer you. The first is that the ballet was first presented in America on this day in 1927, and the second is that in 1668, on this day, Dutch Prince William III. danced in the premiere, called "Ballet of Peace".
