After years of waiting and teasing, Italian Pininfarina engineers have just completed their work and presented an electric supercar named Battista. They will make only 150 examples, and each one will cost more than 2 million euros.
Pininfarina Battista it's a true electric monster, but when we talk about its performance, we're actually talking about excesses and numbers that are hard for the average car enthusiast to grasp. The presentation model is even more exclusive and has been named the Battista Anniversario and will be made in samo 5 copies. A special Battista edition that also celebrates more than 90 years Pininfarina's car design will visually distinguished from the ʺordinaryʺ Battista and was for 10 kilograms lighter.
Battista is driven four electric motors, each in one of the wheels. The total system power is approx 1,900 horsepower (1,397 kW) and stunning 2,300 Nm of torque. To accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h, Battista needs less than 2 seconds, to accelerate to 200 km/h less than 6 seconds. The speedometer will show 300 km/h, after less than 12 seconds acceleration. The maximum speed is 350 km/h. A battery with a capacity is responsible for energy 120 kWh, which has enough energy for 500 not excessive racing miles. At Pininfarina, they are of the opinion that most examples will be sold on the North American and European markets, which means that we may see one of them near us.
