A half-year-old announced that the concept model will Precept, shown earlier this year, began production. In Great Britain, where Polestar models are being developed, 130 developers are currently working on the concept.
The decision was made after the company realized that people liked it and that there was a market for such a beautiful, sporty and all-electric car.
Polestar Precept will be produced in China, Polestar's home market, in a completely new production facility that is currently still in the planning stage. The factory will not only be carbon neutral, but also one of the most intelligent and connected automotive manufacturing facilities in the world.
Polestar hints that an important part of the Precept is its lightweight carbon composite construction and sustainable materials. The interior of the Polestar Precept contains a mix of sustainable materials, including recycled PET bottles, recycled fishing nets and recycled cork. Developed by external partner Bcomp, the flax-based composite is featured in many interior and some exterior pieces. Polestar's ambition is to transfer most of this sustainability to the production of the final product.
