Premiere of the historical drama 12 Years a Slave

In the US, before the Civil War, of Solomon Northup, a free black man from upstate New York, kidnap and sell in slavery. Given over to cruelty, in the form of an evil slave owner, but also unexpected mercy Solomon he fights for his own life and his dignity. In the twelfth year of these unforgettable odysseys, he accidentally meets a Canadian abolitionist, which changes the course of his life forever.
