When in the cities of ptwinkling holiday lights, the city streets become a real fairy tale and feast for the eyes. In several Slovenian cities and towns, the lighting of the lights will mark the beginning of a happy December, with which individual towns enter the festively colored last month of the year.

On December 1, 2023, there will be holiday lights lit up Ljubljana and thus marked the beginning of a valued tradition that not only brings warmth and joy to cold winter days. The responsibility for this enchanting spectacle includes around 850 sculptures and figures, which passed from the hands of the late Zmag Modico to the skilled hands of Urbano Modico. Even this winter 2023, the city's image will be decorated with a festive note. To brighten up the festive atmosphere, Ljubljana will be brightened up 10 Christmas baubles, which will provide a magical atmosphere that delights both locals and visitors.

The festive events will begin in Koper December 2, 2023, at 5 p.m. on Tito Square. A children's choir, musicians, an ice rink, a Christmas fair and many concerts will mark the festive atmosphere in Koper. Various musical events and traditional concerts will brighten up December in the city by the sea.
