Dolina Jelena Ranch: a fairytale trip in the embrace of nature and animals

We have known for a long time that Croatia has a handful of wonderful places that are worth visiting. With the arrival of spring, which shines in all its splendor, we spend more and more time outdoors and use the day for excursions.

Ranch Dolina Jelena lies in Rakovica, Croatia, in the town of Drežnik, which is 12 km from the Plitvice Lakes National Park. It is owned by the Bićanić family farm, which is engaged in with deer and fallow deer breeding.

If you are a nature and animal lover, this is one of the places that is made for a fairytale trip. The 15-hectare ranch offers a unique experience to spend time with beautiful deer, horses and Slavonian pigs.

Important information:

  • Ranch Dolina is open only by appointment, so you need to book a visit.
  • The ranch is closed on Mondays.
  • The owners determine the time of the visit on working days according to the weather conditions.
  • The number of persons is limited in accordance with epidemiological conditions.
  • To visit the Ranch on weekends, it is necessary to register at least five days in advance, as places fill up quickly.
  • The price of the ticket per person is 9 euros, and the visit is free for children up to 7 years old.
