Roasted Hokkaido Pumpkin
Make your roasted Hokkaido pumpkin savory or sweet - both are divine.
Ingredients
- half a pumpkin
- olive oil
- spices as desired, depending on whether you want a sweet or salty version
Directions
- Cut the pumpkin in half and peel the seeds to get only the pure fleshy part.
- Cut the pumpkin into moon-shaped strips. The thickness must be the same for even baking. Place the slices on a greased baking sheet, then drizzle with olive oil and mix well.
- Place the spices of your choice on each slice. For a salty version, you can prepare a mixture of garlic, a little ginger, sweet pepper and salt. Bake the prepared pumpkin in the oven at 180 °C for about 45 minutes, serve while still warm.
