Ingredients (for 4 people)

  • 2 (over)ripe bananas, peeled and cut into rings
  • 1 package of puff pastry
  • 75 g of Nutella
  • 1 beaten egg

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius. Roll out the puff pastry. Imagine cutting it lengthwise into thirds and spreading nutella on the middle third. Spread the sliced bananas on it in one layer. They may slightly overlap each other. Cut out the triangle in the upper right corner, and do the same in the upper left corner. Cut diagonal strips on the first and last thirds of the dough, each about 2.5 centimeters wide. Fold the top edge of the dough left when you cut out the triangles over the filling, then alternately fold the strips over the middle with the filling. When it reaches the end, fold the bottom edge. Brush the banana and Nutella braid with beaten egg. Place in a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake for 15 minutes or until the braid is a nice golden brown color. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving. So sweet good run!
