Ingredients

    Ingredients for nachos:
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 onion
  • 50 dag ground beef
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 can of red beans
  • half a jar of pickled japalenos chilies
  • half a glass of water
  • 1 bag of tortilla chips
  • 50 dag of cheddar cheese
  • 50 dag of finely grated cheese
  • a little salt
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning mix, optional
  • Ingredients for the dressing:
  • 1 large tomato
  • 1 avocado
  • 1 onion
  • a few fresh coriander leaves, optional
  • 1 sour cream
  • 1 hot sauce of your choice

Directions

  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and fry until softened (about 5 min), then add the minced meat and cook until it loses its pink color (about 6 min). Then drain the fat.
  2. Return the pan to the heat and add the garlic and taco seasoning mix. Season with salt and cook until the meat is browned and crispy (about 5 minutes). Then add the refried beans and water, mix well and set the pan aside.
  3. Heat the oven to 220°C and line a large baking tray with baking foil. Place half of the tortilla chips in it, then cover it with the meat and bean mixture and half of the other ingredients for the nachos (cheese, black beans, japalenos). Add the other half of the chips and repeat the process.
  4. Bake until the cheese melts (about 15 minutes). Then sprinkle with the dressing ingredients, adding the sour cream and sauce last. Bon Appetit!
