Recipe: An easy apple cinnamon roll that you won't be able to resist

When making a decision, you should not forget the classic combination of the flavors of apples and cinnamon: that's why we have prepared an easy recipe for a delicious apple roulade with cinnamon.

In the apple roulade recipe, the sweet taste of apples is infused with delicious, immediately recognizable cinnamon.

Ingredients

    Ingredients for the roulade:
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 egg yolk
  • three-quarters of a cup of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
  • a pinch of nutmeg
  • Ingredients for the filling:
  • 4 apples
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • Ingredients for cinnamon cream:
  • 2 cups cream
  • half a teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Prepare sugar, eggs, yolk, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Mix with a hand mixer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Using a sieve, add flour, cocoa powder, cinnamon, baking powder and nutmeg to the dough. Gently fold into the mixture.
  3. Pour the mixture into a pan lined with baking paper, smooth it out and place the pan in the oven, which you have heated to 180 °C. Bake for 14 minutes.
  4. Place the dough on a clean tea towel or tablecloth sprinkled with a little sugar. Remove the baking paper and roll into the shape of a roll with the help of a tablecloth. Let it cool down.
  5. Peel the apples and cut them into small pieces. Heat the butter and sugar in a pan over medium heat. Add the apples and fry for 4-5 minutes. Then set the apples aside and let them cool.
  6. Start by making the cinnamon cream. This is done by adding cinnamon and powdered sugar to the cream and whipping the mixture with a hand mixer. Then unwrap the cooled roulade and spread about three-quarters of the cream on it.
  7. Add apples to the cream. Be sure to leave a little space around the edge to make it easier to roll the roulade.
  8. Roll up the roulade and spread the rest of the cinnamon cream on it.

Additional tip:

Fans of the recognizable caramel flavor can add more to the recipe caramel sauce, which you will add to the roulade for the cinnamon cream. Then you can sprinkle it over the roll or use a wooden skewer to draw an interesting pattern.
