The preparation of ice cream is so easy that some less common ingredients such as basil can also be used for it. Even if herbs aren't your thing, this basil ice cream is worth a try.

This recipe can be used to make a liter refreshing basil ice cream!

Basil ice cream ingredients:

15 g of basil leaves
120 g of sugar
4 large egg yolks
450 ml of whole milk
450 ml of sweet cream

For the strawberry topping:
300 g of sliced strawberries
150 g of sugar
1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice

Preparation of basil ice cream:

Mix into a powder in a blender basil leaves and sweetr, which are then placed in a container together with egg yolks and stir until the yolks are slightly frothy. In another pot, heat the milk until it is hot but not boiling, then add it to the mixture and mix well. Now the whole thing mixture slowly heat it in the pot for a minute or so, stirring constantly, until it thickens a little. Then put the mixture in a container and let it cool completely. Then we put our creamy mixture into a blender for ice cream and follow the usual preparation instructions. If we don't have a blender, we'll skip this step. Now put our ice cream in plastic container and cover it with a lid and put it in the freezer for six hours. If desired, the ice cream can be taken out of the freezer every two hours to mix it a little. Now we can prepare more strawberry dressing. Put the strawberries, lemon juice and sugar in a pan and mix the ingredients together until the dressing boils, then slowly mix it at a lower temperature until you get the desired consistency. Before serving, put the ice cream out of the freezer for 20 minutes and then cover it with strawberry topping. Good run.
