Ingredients

  • 400 g of fresh tagliatelle
  • 500 g of ground beef
  • 150 g of pancetta
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 carrots
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 400 g of pureed tomatoes
  • 150 ml of red wine
  • 100 ml beef soup base
  • 50 g of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Directions

  1. In a pan over medium heat, fry the pancetta until crispy.
  2. Add the chopped onion, garlic, carrot and celery and fry until the vegetables are soft.
  3. Add ground beef and fry until browned.
  4. Stir in the pureed tomatoes, red wine and beef stock. Reduce heat and simmer for at least 1 hour.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Boil water in a large pot, add salt and cook the tagliatelle al dente.
  7. Mix the drained pasta with the sauce and serve sprinkled with Parmesan cheese.
