Roasting chicken has never been so easy as with this recipe. You don't need many ingredients, and you can serve potatoes or vegetables as a side dish, or just eat it with a salad.
Juicy and crispy roast chicken
Ingredients
- chicken 2 kg
- 30-40g of butter
- salt
- pepper
- barbecue sauce
Directions
- Cut off the thighs and tail end of the chicken and remove the excess skin. Then cut it lengthwise to get 2 parts.
- Dry it with towels and coat it with butter inside and out and, if we left the skin, also under it.
- Season with salt and pepper on both sides and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake at 220°C for about 35 minutes.
- Then take the chicken out and coat it with barbecue sauce and put back in the oven for another 5 minutes.
- Coat the chicken twice more and return to the oven for 5 minutes after each coating.
- Let it rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
