It was only a matter of time before the skis got smart too. The first smart skis were produced by the Rossignol brand, which, in cooperation with the PiQ company, equipped the high-end Rossignol Hero Master skis with artificial intelligence.
They are coming smart skis. Rossignol is a top ski Hero Master together with the company PiQ equipped with nanocomputers and LED displays. With help sensor and system GAIA AI ski collects and analyzes skiing. It records speed, analyzes and counts turns, as well as drives, measures distance traveled, bending moment, etc. Artificial intelligence analyzes the data in detail and the most important in real time displayed on the front of the ski with LED diodes, and for a more detailed analysis, which enables the improvement of skiing technique, the data is accessible via a dedicated application that will be available for operating systems iOS and Android.

The price for the Rossignol Hero Master smart skis is not yet known, as it is prototype, and "unwise" ones are available for around thousand euros. It is, however, a professional rank of skis.
