Are you really hot too? Then escape to one of the cooler corners of Slovenia, where you will escape from the heat and cool down pleasantly.

Bled vintgar

The more than 1,600-meter-long gorge on the eastern edge of the Triglav National Park is considered one of the corners of Slovenia where you can easily cool down. The gorge was formed by the river Radovna, which flows into the Sava Dolinka, and before entering the gorge it is necessary to pay an entrance fee.

Soča river

The Soča River, which is considered one of the greatest assets of the Triglav National Park, offers plenty of locations where you can cool off on summer days. Most will cool off by sitting on the river bank, but the braver ones will be able to jump into the emerald current of the river. It is worth noting that the Soča boasts a temperature of around 11 degrees.

Lake Jasna

The two artificial lakes at the confluence of the Velika and Mala Pišnica streams can boast of a beautiful turquoise shade of water that attracts bathers from near and far. Piers are available for you, from where you can bravely jump into the lake or sunbathe on the large viewing platform.

Vineyard

With its temperature, the Kolpa river is friendlier to bathers, besides being one of the warmest and cleanest rivers in Slovenia, it is also considered less populated. Since its flow is slow, bathing is extremely pleasant, and in the hot summer the temperature of the Kolpa rises to 28 degrees in some places.

Lake Velenjsko

Lake Velenjsko is one of the few spots in this area of Slovenia where you can cool off. It was created as a result of lignite mining, and today it attracts bathers, including many locals, with its impeccable bathing water. Its surface measures as much as 1.4 km2, and due to its surface area it is one of the largest Slovenian lakes.
