V research the researchers wondered if men with beards had an advantage in conquest compared to men without beards. In order to arrive at this result, it is 8500 women photo appraiser men according to how many there are attractive to them and what kind of relationship you would have with them – longer or shorter.

Most women said that men with beards are more attractive and they are better choice for long term relationship. Women are said to have this belief because they are attracted to characteristics that suggest high testosterone levels. A beard, along with broad shoulders, a deep voice and a prominent jawline, is a sign that he is a man mature, getting ready to commit and to protect his woman.

However, there are exceptions here too - if a man has too much testosterone or male qualities, they only want to have women with them shorter relationship, because they are convinced that they are such men unreliable.
