SeaBubbles: waterfront and seaside cities with a new form of urban mobility

Paris' SeaBubbles wants to redefine mobility in modern cities, not in the air, but on the water.

Their new autonomous transportation service is based on boats with “Bubble” sub-pads that use special skis to lift them out of the water. These are said to ward off seasickness and provide an exceptionally smooth ride on the water.

The boats are 100% electric, are automatically loaded on special docks that are also "pick-up" and "drop-off" points. While a specific timetable has yet to be announced, the company hopes to offer its service in more than five years within the next five years. 50 places, where the river could be an excellent thoroughfare.
