Watch from a Swiss company Vacheron Constantin impresses with perpetual calendar, which will always - even when it's a leap year - show the user the exact date and day of the week.

Until now, it was believed that watches of this type are only suitable for those who use them on a daily basis and do not turn them off. Otherwise, the time must be set again. Vacheron Constantin solved this problem by introducing special mode of operation with low energy consumption, during which the time on the calendar is running, while the other pointers are stationary.

The owner will therefore be able to choose between two states of his watch: active with frequency 5 Hz respectively 36,000 fills per hour or "standby” with frequency 1.2 Hz respectively 8,640 full charges per hour. In the latter, the calendar will display dates correctly for as many as 65 days.

The watch, which convinces not only with its functionality, but also with its slim case and seductive design, is rated at 210.000 €.

We find the Swiss giant at the heart of the watch a very thin spiral of a mechanical mechanism. This is attached to the strap, which ensures uniform movement with its elasticity.

Such spirals are usually made of elinvarja, high-quality alloys of nickel and iron, which is not considered a new asset of the brand TAG Heuer. It contains carbon spiral. The latter is produced under special conditions in their own laboratories, and the process takes several hours.

Carbon spirals are significantly smaller than traditional ones easier, but at the same time they are also non-magnetic. The material is at the same time more elastic than silicon, which some brands have already started using as an alternative to the mentioned alloy.

Model Heuer 02T boasts, among other things, chronograph and "tourbillon” – a special inflammation of the nervous system, which cancels out the negative influence of gravity. It will require a deduction 19.100 €.
