Škoda Vision E is Škoda's first fully electric concept study. With it, Škoda also presents its electric mobile future, which impresses with its design, technology, 'simply clever' solutions and attention to detail.
Skoda Vision E due to the roofline, it has the appearance of a coupe, with a pronounced front fascia, and is without a B-pillar for a feeling of greater spaciousness. The door opens in the opposite direction, side mirrors they said goodbye, and they do the work for them cameras, which are installed around the car.
There is a strong presence at the front and rear of the concept LED light fixtures. The LED light strip is running across the entire width of the front part, and at the ends of this line there are two headlights, designed in matrix LED technology.
The interior of the Škoda Vision E concept is no less interesting than its exterior. Since, due to the electric drive, we no longer need the central tunnel, or rather the console in which the gearbox was hidden until now, we therefore have more space.
Shell-shaped seats they are rotatable, which makes getting in and out of the car easier. It provides access to information and entertainment content multiple touch screens, which are available to the driver and passenger. Each door has a cell phone compartment on the inside.
They drive the futuristic concept two electric motors with system power 225 kW, respectively 306 horsepower. We have available four-wheeled drive, induction charging battery with which we can go to 500 kilometers far away. The maximum speed of the concept is 180 km/h. Among the intelligent systems, it is worth noting that driving is automated up to the third level.
With traffic jam assistance, the Vision E will be automatic accelerated and braked, and the Car Park Autopilot system will automatically found parking space and also parked. Among other things, Vision E can communicates with other road users, other vehicles and infrastructure. We can manage the concept with gestures and vocal management, thanks to the WLAN point and the LTE module, passengers will be able to always in touch with the virtual world.
The Škoda Vision E concept is a real feast for the eyes, with a great ear for design details. The future is definitely in electric cars and when we see that future through Škoda's eyes, we liked her even more.
