In the fantasy drama Echoes of Time, director Ema Kugler discovers the fact that man's greatest delusion is his illusion that he is free. The film will be shown only on May 13 and 15 in Kinodvor.
Man as such has not changed anything over many millennia. It is governed by genes and drives; as they did when he was still hiding in the caves. And what did he gain from such a celebrated civilization? A more comfortable way of living, for which he sold his freedom. He has become an object of society, a function that he must perform as required of him, otherwise society excludes him. However, the means of coercion have been developed to the greatest sophistication. They became hidden, invisible. And who is behind all this? Politics, military, religion, three dark angels clothed in the glittering mantle of democracy, peace and salvation… three dark angels… bearers of evil.
