Every year in the USA, a prestigious competition and evaluation of spirits is held, called: "Great American International Spirits Competition", to which Fructal also entered Monologue gin this year. Monologue received a double gold medal and was thus ranked among the eight best spirits in the world.
Monologues was introduced to the market last December and is the result of cooperation Tomaž Kavčič, recognized Vipava chef grandmaster and Fructala. Tomaž Kavčič developed gin for three years, during which time Fructal prepared as many as 72 different distillates until Tomaž found the right formula.
Monologues is produced from higher quality grains and distillates of natural extracts of juniper berries and selected herbs. It is characterized by the rich aromas of Mediterranean plants, such as angelica, citronella, gentian, lemon balm, rosemary, lavender. The special feature is olive leaf extract, which until now has not been used in the production of gin due to its bitterness.
