The FIS Ski Jumping World Cup Planica 2021 is starting, and Pivovarna Laško Union is also a proud sponsor of it. Despite the physical absence of spectators in the valley below Poncami, they want the planning atmosphere to flood Slovenia and for sports to connect people. With the Laško brand campaign, they are actively encouraging all fans to hang the Slovenian flag on the front of their homes between March 25 and 28 as a sign of support and encouragement for the Slovenian Eagles.
Every year, the month of March was the most marked Planica. In the beautiful scenery of Jalovac and the snow-covered Ponc Mountains, which rise above the ski jumps, we remember the longest flights in the world, which were always watched live by tens of thousands of visitors. Fans of jumps and flights from all over the world prepared such a loud cheering atmosphere that they could often be heard as far as Kranjska Gora. And who doesn't remember the thousands of Slovenian flags that proudly fluttered in the windy valley below Ponci? The flags stretched as far as the eye could see.
These legendary scenes are certainly deeply rooted in the heart of every Slovene, because we always breathed as one during the Alpine events. This is how we remember the unforgettable successes of the Slovenian eagles from past years, which united all of Slovenia during their triumphs, when Zdravljica rang out from thousands of throats.
V Laško Brewery for many years they have been supporting everything related to Slovenian ski jumping, including Planica and our eagles, so this year they have designed a special campaign where you can conjure up a Planica atmosphere at home. From March 25 to 28 there will be four races in ski flights in Planica, so during this time let's hang Slovenian flags at home and support our eagles. This way, we will flood Slovenia with flags and bring a piece of the legendary atmosphere from the valley under the Poncami into our homes, when we will shake our fists for our eagles.
Let's show our planning heart and prove that even though we are apart, we know how to come together. Slovenian flags should fly proudly in our homes as they used to in Planica. Let the whole of Slovenia shout #GremoOrli. The legendary Planica certainly deserves it.
