Spaceport America is the place to take you to the stars and back.
In New Mexico, the Virgin Galactic company built Spaceport America, the first airport in the world, which will intended for commercial space flight and back. A huge airport that was burned for “Transition to Space” ("Gateway to Space") extends over 70 square kilometers, and the plan for it was drawn by an architectural firm Foster + Partners.
Spaceport America has several functionalities. It has a huge hangar for aircraft and vehicles, mission control center, and of course spaces where future astronauts can train and prepare for takeoff. But in order to call it a real airport, everyone can enjoy refreshments in the restaurant while watching the take-offs and landings. The airport will also serve as a place for testing new technologies. It is currently the first commercial flight into space already busy, but if the price remains the same in the future, a deduction will be required for the seat converted 225 thousand euros.
