Sports Illustrated for the first time ever with unretouched photos

This month, Sports Illustrated released the 2018 Swimsuit Edition, which features, for the first time ever, raw photos of a variety of nude models.

The cast of 'Nagic' consists of five moms, four published authors, five world-famous female athletes, two plus size model, and adorns the cover black model (for the third time in a row).

The magazine shows raw or unretouched photos campaigns In Her Words, with which they want to encourage female power and oppose the ways in which women are portrayed in the media.

Kate Wasley, a plus-size model who also participates in this campaign, says: “I remember the first time I saw a plus-size model on the cover of a magazine. I was 18 years old and completely insecure. Just seeing Robyn Lawley on the cover filled me with confidence and joy. I felt so empowered, and if I can be a part of this campaign and inspire another girl, that's amazing.”
